Break, a neo-noir thriller shot on a shoestring budget, was my first attempt at an independent feature. Production began in the summer of 2007. After completing nearly seventy percent of principle photography, due to personal complications with one of the cast members, production was put on hiatus.
The screenplay went on to surpass 4800 other screenplays in competition when it was selected as a Nicholl Fellowship Quarterfinalist.
